Oregon senators: Gas pipeline ‘not in the public interest’

“In another letter critical of the proposed gas project, the nonprofit Pipeline Safety Trust told FERC on Wednesday that the project should be denied because of TC Energy’s “poor safety history.”

The trust noted that another pipeline operated by TC Energy, the Columbia Gas Transmission pipeline system, experienced an explosion in Virginia on Tuesday morning.”
