I was sick for year after an oil spill. Five years later, pipeline accidents are worsening
By Alexis Bonogofsky, Truth-Out.org (Jul 10, 2016) – “As I walk through my farm and see the weeds, the dead soil and oil lines left on the old cottonwood trees, I think about the large part of my life that I’ve spent dealing with an oil spill that I wouldn’t have had to deal with if the Exxon Pipeline Company had been forced to follow the regulations already in place. I think about my lungs and I wonder what damage was done that I might experience when I’m older.” -Alexis Bonogofsky, PST Board Member
