Rebecca Orrison

Rebecca joined the Pipeline Safety Trust in May 2025 as the Data Manager. She brings a curious mind and practical approach to her role underscored by a commitment to rigorous and self-reflective analytics.

Previously, Dr. Orrison worked as a research scientist studying the variability and dynamics of the South American Summer Monsoon in the past, present and future by integrating traditional studies of large-scale atmospheric dynamics with oxygen isotope data drawn from field campaigns. She holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences at the University at Albany.

In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her cats.
