There are a myriad of regulations and regulators that provide oversight for pipelines in Oregon State. Which regulations apply, and which regulators have jurisdiction, depends on the type of pipeline and the function of the regulators. Some agencies oversee siting of pipeline, while other agencies oversee pipeline safety, while yet other agencies deal with ensuring spills from pipelines are adequately cleaned up.
