The National Transportation Safety Board released its safety study on the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) in liquid pipelines. Washington Gas, the major distribution company in Washington DC and surrounding Virginia and Maryland, has just published the study Investigation of the Causes of Leaks in Natural Gas Pipeline Compression Couplings which appears to blame the use of LNG for these leaks.
